Ceramics are faster, the pro's dont ride them just because the look fast, are lighter and have the mmm factor, they ride ceramic because its quick. 
 
These are simple to self-install in your drivetrain (you take a 3mm allen key and unbolt the old jockey wheel, you install the new jockey wheel, and you do the bolt back up) - simple and you dont even need to remove the chain. 

FSA jockey wheels come in red for Shimano and Blue for Campy.  The bearings and races are the highest quality and fastest currently available.  Treat yourself.
