Product Information

When we heard that you could get 100% carbon chainrings we just had to have some...

Made by Fibre Lyte in the UK, a pair of our 53/39 chainrings weighs in at 79 grams total weight.  We use these chainrings for daily riding as well as training and Half Ironman.  We recommend carbon rings for cycling, triathlon, TT, Saturday mornings and riding to the corner shop.  We do not recommend they be used for crit racing, cyclocross or any other high stress applications.  That being said if you want to use these for Cylocross we understand...

Our carbon chainrings can be ridden daily and as long as you ease off when shifting on the front rings.  They are a very visible upgrade option.  Our manufaturer has managed over 4000km on a set, we'll let you know if we ever get that far on ours.

Self installation is simple - unbolt the five chainring bolts and remove your existing heavy metal chainrings.  Replace these with your new carbon ones and replace the five chainring bolts.  All this is achieved with a 5mm allen key.  Some adjustment of the front deraileur may be required once your carbon chainrings are fitted.

Prices are in Australian Dollars.

If you want something special, we offer custom carbon chainrings in either single or double rings and any size/tooth combination that you may require.  We also offer full aero chainrings and the option of personal laser engraving (your name, power outputs, training heart rates, etc) into the chain ring - please contact us for details and pricing.
