The Workshop
Cyclespeed has always been first and foremost a dedicated bicycle workshop. Our workshop is set up to service all makes of road and tri bikes. We stock a complete range of genuine spare parts for Shimano, SRAM and Campag drivetrains. We have a comprehensive range of tooling to ensure that we can keep your bike running the way the manufacturer intended.
  
Service Options:
All our services (apart from Quick Tune) start with your bike being washed back to "As New". Once your bike is clean then we have a number of service options to choose from:
Quick Tune - $45 Ideal just before a race or big ride, we tune the brakes and gears, make sure all bearings and controls are working correctly and give your bike a coat of our secret shine.
Standard Service - $90 Bike cleaned, drivetrain washed, gears tuned, all bearings and bolts checked and serviced, all cables checked and bike test ridden.
Strip & Re-build - $200 The standard service and wash are included but first we we strip the bike down to a frame, cut and face the bottom bracket, tapp threads, and then rebuild the bike to be 'race ready'. This is a great option for new bikes or recent second hand purchases if you want to make sure your bike will operate to her potential.
Build - $240 You bring us the frame, groupset and "other" bits. We cut and face the bottom bracket, tapp threads, and then build the bike. If you need anything extra, we can supply that too.
Race Prep - $220 A three part service. We strip your bike down, clean and rebuild her approx two weeks prior to your big race (includes new inner cables). You put a few k's on the bike and then return to us a few days before the event so we can perform a final tune up and test. We perform some magic with bearings and lubricants to ensure that the drivetrain and wheels are running at their utmost. After your race you drop back and see us and we'll perform a clean up and put some 'normal' lubricant back in.
Ceramic Upgrades
At Cyclespeed we take pride in performing ceramic upgrades to drivetrains and wheels sets. All our ceramic upgrades are performed with hand pressed bearings and we have dedicated tooling for all our bearing work. A good result with ceramics requires high quality bearings but its also the quality of the installation. A great result requires preparation of the frame and the use of specific tooling. You are welcome in the workshop to watch while we install your bearings.
Pricing for Ceramic installs start from $350 for a drive train and about $250 for a wheel set. Drop in for a coffee and a chat about your upgrade.
Titanium Bolt Upgrades
Looking to finish your bike off with some ti? For about $200 we can complete a ti bolt upgrade, replacing most of the steel bolts. Ti is about half the weight of steel and will never rust. Our ti bolts are made in the UK from 6/4 ti and come in natural, blue, gold and pink.
