Cyclespeed is an Australian retail and online store providing high end bicycle upgrades, sourced from all over the world, stocked in Melbourne and delivered to you (usually mailed same day).  The business is owned and operated by Dr Karl Pavey and Andrew Jones.

Prior to starting Cyclespeed, Dr Karl has worked as the senior mechanic for several specialty bicycle stores both here in Australia and in the UK.  In addition to knowing lots about bike bits, Karl likes to compete in off-road endurance events which provide an excellent test environment for our new products.

Andrew is a keen yet slow triathlete who likes to compete in Half Ironman and short course tri events.  He has also been known to try the odd adventure race with similar results.  Andrew loves his bicycle upgrades and whenever some of our stock goes missing, we normally find it bolted on to one of his bikes.  We will post some pictures of his next project bike once it is complete.

Before we started Cyclespeed, we were bike enthusiasts who found that we were ordering large amounts of high end bicycle componentry from overseas.  We had hassles with exchange rates, duties, packaging and no local returns option so we decided to solve this problem by opening our own store and stocking it full of the stuff we really like.
  

We compete and ride in triathlons, TT's, road and mountain events.  We have opened a specialty bicycle service centre in Melbourne with a focus on exacting mechanical standards and a consistantly high level of personal service.  We strive to deliver the same precision standard of work on your bicycle every time, and we treat all our customers like professional riders, regardless of their speed.  We stock the best titanium and carbon upgrades and we always have something new you've never seen before.  Drop into our workshop and see us soon.
